I also think you should worry less about losing subscribers and more about what is sustainable for you in your working life. What you share has value and more of it would be lovely but it's not necessary imho.
Thank you, Tina. I’ve been stressing about it a bit. I def want to be a picture book maker who has a substack rather than the reverse. I’ll get the mix right!
Hi. Congratz for the futbol victory! Working/Playing hard and getting a big win is always nice. And sharing in others successes is special too. It is one of the nice things i experience with your SS. Thanks for All you do.
I have definitely been needing to lean into the focus too, and not distract myself with busyness. Good reminder and this quote is amazing. And huge congrats to your kiddo!
I like the idea of shared portfolio reviews. I think we can learn a lot from others reviews.
It’s in the plans! I agree 💯
Always love your posts, Jacob.
Thank you, Tina!

I love Felicia Sala’s work too.

Thank you, Sarah! Big week around here. Ironically making it really hard to focus!
Excited about more Viking Chicken content...

Wow. OK. The definition of "decide"is something I'm gonna ponder all day. That's some very valuable insight!
I also did the exact same thing when I saw Felicita Sala's "When You Run Out of Words" it's been my favorite book ever since I saw it on the shelf.
Thanks again for sharing! I look forward to your insights and perspective .
