I’ve always been drawn to illustration work that looks loose and unfinished. Work that isn’t too careful or stressed over — playful, naive, exuberant. It often has a sense of randomness to it. Made with daring bravado and freedom. Not too labored over, yet skillful. Here’s a sampling of the kind of work that I mean:
